This workshop is for those with some experience in landscape painting who wish to focus on issues particular to plein air painting in oils. Focus issues addressed will be the selection of the subject, design of the canvas and blocking in the values, color combinations and aerial perspective, creating a convincing sense of depth. Painting at gorgeous sites in the Sedona area throughout the week, students will learn to deal effectively with the changing light that nature provides.
