In a stimulating atmosphere of experimentation, daily lecture and demonstrations lasting an hour each day, Carole Myers illustrates and teaches various approaches to creating successful paintings. This class will include abstract design, abstracting from representational material, as well as dealing with organic and inorganic motifs. Working from sketches, photographs and your imagination, you will apply techniques on dry paper, working with resists and working wet into wet, opaque to transparent.
