PHOENIX ANTIQUE MARKET SEPT 17-18 OFFERS FREE ADMISSION, APPRAISAL CLINIC
Admission to the Phoenix Antique Market, set for Sept. 17-18 at the Arizona State Fairgrounds, 19th Avenue and W. McDowell Road, will be free and show attendees can have their favorite antique or collectible appraised by experts for a charitable donation.
Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 17 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 18. Parking, however, at the Arizona State Fairgrounds, costs $6 per vehicle.
In addition to thousands of antiques, ranging from Early American primitives, pottery, depression glass, diamonds, gold, gemstones, costume jewelry, furniture, ephemera, eclectic, vintage toys, and more, numerous displays of collectible items will be available.
The Valley of the Sun Antique Dealers Association will host a verbal appraisal clinic for show goers who want to get an idea of what their collectible or antique piece might be worth. Appraisals cost $5 per item and the proceeds will benefit the Southeast Valley National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, (NAMI).
