Bark Breakfast is in celebration of National Take Your Dog to Work Day and is designed to call attention to the benefits of dogs as pets, to encourage adoptions from shelters, and to help pooches and their people spend some quality time together.
People will enjoy a hearty buffet sponsored by Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson while canine connoisseurs indulge in doggie delights created by Micki Voisard of Dog Chefs of America who will prepare Yogi Casserole (chicken, yellow squash, cottage cheese, eggs, olive oil and oats), or Chicki’s Beef Heart Loaf (ground beef heart, carrots, parsley, eggs, olive oil and rice).
Guests will enjoy an interesting and informative presentation by Dr. Michael Matz, Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, on exercise and pet nutrition and its importance in the long term life of pets, dog trick demo, dog trick class, pet photographer, and pet psychics. All dogs will receive a special treat and toy filled "Bark Briefcase" upon departing. R.S.V.P. by June 17, 2005.
