Sedona Plein Air Festival 2005, presented by Sedona Arts Center October 24 – 30, 2005, will provide a celebration of Sedona’s extraordinary beauty as seen through the eyes of 34 of the finest plein air painters in the country. The weeklong festival will feature painters all over town - on the streets, trailheads, creeks and vistas – capturing the beauty of the Sedona area on canvas.

Saturday, Oct 29
10am - noon
Paint Out at L’Auberge de Sedona
All of the artists will converge upon L’Auberge de Sedona to paint at the same time, completing a painting in just two hours. Free and open to the public.
5 – 8pm
“Paint the Town Plein Air” Patrons Gala at Sedona Arts Center
Gala patrons will have the first opportunity to view and purchase artwork from the festival. For this evening event, artists will choose their finest paintings from the week, along with their ‘paint out’ piece, to be displayed for patron purchase. The artists will be on hand to talk about their artwork. Tickets are $75 and available now through the Sedona Arts Center. The event will feature live music and catering by L’Auberge de Sedona.

Public Exhibition and Art Sale at Sedona Arts Center
All are invited to Sedona Arts Center to meet the artists and view and purchase paintings created during the weeklong event.
